In this course, I learned some experience from the professional’s interviewer and from my classmates. As before, I only use social media to communicate with my friends and didn’t make a lot of connections. We use online community chat and WordPress to make connections with our classmates.
My perspective of social media has changed after this course because I noticed that social media can give me many job opportunities and updated information. I think my PLN has changed to more professional use rather than just personal use. I think social media more likely to be communicating with friends. such as Facebook, Instagram and so on. However, after learning this course, I can see that social media has many other uses. Especially, it will help with our studies and future career plan. With this special situation right now, I could see the importance of social media for professional use. I will start to build more connections to expand my PLN to help with my future career plan. I will start to follow more experts on Twitter as they can share their professional experiences.
